A lamp which shade is made from Velcro®, a simple material (used in many fields like clothing...) that usually remains hidden. Luis Eslava has taken it out from ostracism, finding a new application for it in lighting. The inherent characteristics of Velcro®, so easy to stick and unstuck, make it perfect even for changing the shape of lamp, if you want. On the other side, it makes a very particular light and shadow game due to the change in the density of Velcro® pieces all over the shade. It's available both in hanging and floor version.
Face to Face lamp was selected in 2006 by the London Design Museum as the star of an installation in the atrium of this important British institution. Later Spanish lighting company Almerich added it into its catalogue.
